VBKOM BURSARY APPLICATION 2024/2025
VBKOM bursary invites aaplications from students who wish to further their studies in 2023 academic year. Applications from interested students must reach before or on 27 January 2023.
VBKOM Bursary Eligibility Criteria
The criteria for bursary awards include, but are not limited to:
- The applicant must be a South African citizen
- The applicant needs to be in their second year or above
- The field of study for which the applicant can apply must be within the mining industry (Geology, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy, Industrial Engineering)
- Bursaries are awarded for a single year’s tuition
- Current bursary holders can reapply for the following year’s tuition bursary

- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Full academic record/ transcripts (on institutions letterhead)
- Proof of university enrollment or acceptance (on institutions letterhead)
- Motivational letter to support your application
