ABOUT ISFAP BURSARY 2024

The ISFAP bursary is offered by the Ikusasa Student Financial Aid Programme which is an NPO formed with the aim of raising funds from various sources. The programme financially supports South Africa’s poor and middle-class students who cannot afford their tertiary education cost.

The objective of the ISFAP bursary is to produce skills that fall under Occupation of High Demand in South Africa. This programme believes that the shortage of these skills must be avoided by producing more each year.

These skills include Actuaries, Accountants, Engineers, Medical Doctors, Pharmacists and Prosthetists. 

ISFAP BURSARY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

In order for your application to be considered you must meet the following criteria:

  • You must be a citizen of South Africa
  • Your family’s combined income must be between R0 – R600 000.00 per annum
  • You must pursue a career as an Actuary, Accountant, Engineer, Medical Doctor, Pharmacists and Prosthetists

Your application must be accompnaied by the following documents:

  • Your ID document (certified copy)
  • Grade 11 final results and Matric latest results, if currently in Matric (certified copy)
  • Matric final results/ certificate, if completed Matric (certified copy)
  • ISFAP Funding Application Consent Form (.pdf) – completed by the applicant and household contributors (certified copy)
  • Proof of household proof of income (latest payslips if employed, affidavit if unemployed, proof of any grants or pension if applicable) (certified copy)
  • Parents or guardians ID documents (certified copy)
