About Tomorrow Trust Bursary

Tomorrow Trust is inviting applications from students who wish to receive a bursary for 2026. In order to be considered for the bursary, applicants must be pursuing an honours degree.

You will be considered for the bursary if you are studying in University of the Witwatersrand, University of Johannesburg, Stellenbosch University, University of Cape Town, Rhodes University and University of Pretoria.

Tomorrow Trust Bursary Fields Of Study

The bursary caters for any field of study provided applicants meet the criteria for eligibility. You can enrol at any university within the boarders of South Africa. Studies must be undertaken in any tertiary institution within SA borders. Here are supported studies in 2026 academic year:

  • BSc Sciences ((various qualifications)
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Information Technology (IT) and Computer Sciences

Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply?

Students wishing to receive financial assistance must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • You must be a South African citizen
  • You must be between the ages of 18 and 35 years
  • You must be in posession of Matric
  • You must be studying or intend on studying full-time, towards an undergraduate degree within one of the fields of study listed above
  • You must be studying or intend on studying at a recognised public university in South Africa
  • You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 60% in your most recent exams, if currently studying

The bursary covers the following expenses during your study period:

  • tuition fees
  • textbooks
  • equipment
  • accommodation
  • living allowances
