PG Group is a well known South African company that manufatures and distributes glass and film solutions for automotive industry. It has invested immensely on other big companies in the country. The company was founded in Cape Town in year 1897.
ABOUT THE PG BURSARY PROGRAMME – FIELDS OF STUDY
Applications are invited by PG Group from students who wish to receive financial assistance which this bursary programme is availing. The bursary caters for undergraduate students who wish to enrol in 2024 academic year.
Below is the list of undergraduate degree studies that will be considered for the 2024 bursary programme:
Gauteng Province Students
- Electrical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Control Engineering or Electronic Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
Port Elizabeth Students
- Electrical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Financial Accounting
- Mechanical Engineering
PG GROUP BURSARY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
For Gauteng students:
- Must be a citizen of South Africa
- Must reside around or in Springs or Pretoria
- Must have completed Matric with an average of at least 60%
- Must be currently studying full-time towards a degree in one of the fields of study mentioned above
- Must be in their 2nd year of study and must have achieved an average of at least 70% in their current year of study
- Must be currently studying at one of the recognised tertiary institutions in South Africa
For Port Elizabeth students:
- Must be a citizen of South Africa
- Must reside around or in Struandale or Neave
- Must have completed Matric with an average of at least 60%
- Must be currently studying full-time towards a degree in one of the fields of study mentioned above
- Must be in their 2nd year of study and must have achieved an average of at least 70% in their current year of study
- Must be currently studying at one of the recognised tertiary institutions in South Africa

If you meet all requirements and this bursary falls under your preferred field of study, you are welcome to apply. Your bursary application must be accompanied by certified copies of documents required. These are listed below.

- Your CV
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric/Grade 23 certificate (certified copy)
- Your tertiary academic record (must contain your university official letterhead)
