About Volkswagen South Africa
Volkswagen Group South Africa (VWSA) is committed to address the skills shortage within all sectors in our country and supports the skills development of our youth. VWSA will be offering a limited number of comprehensive bursaries to qualifying candidates, studying towards a degree at a formal tertiary institution in South Africa.
Eligibility Requirements
Volkswagen awards bursaries with the aim of providing full financial support and development for qualifying applicants. You must be intending to study or are studying towards a formal tertiary qualification in the selected fields of study.
The bursary programme for 2026 academic year is aimed at candidates who meet the following criteria:
- South African Citizen or permanent residents in South Africa (permanent residence must be supported by a letter from Dept of Home Affairs)
- Academic performance:
- Grade 12 Bachelors Pass with a minimum average of 65%
- Tertiary level minimum of 65% average
- All applicants will need to undergo screening, shortlisting, an interview as well as psychometric assessments
- Applicants must meet the VWSA Equity requirements
