ABOUT THE COMPANY – AUDITOR GENERAL OF SOUTH AFRICA

ABOUT THE AUDITOR GENERAL BURSARY – FIELDS OF STUDY
Below are the qualifications that you must be pursuing of you wish to receive funding from the AGSA office:
- Bachelor Commerce Accounting (CA stream)
- Bachelor of Accounting (CA stream)
- BComp
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE AUDITOR GENERAL BURSARY
Below is the criteria set for interested individuals who wish to submit online application for the 2024 bursary:
- Must be studying or intending to study towards a qualification as a chartered accountant (i.e. BCom Accounting CA stream, Bachelor of Accounting CA stream and BCompt) at a university accredited by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA).
- Bursary holders are required to serve articles / enter into a training contract with the organisation on completion of their studies as per the bursary contract.
- Bursaries are awarded to South African citizens only.

Final-Year Students:

- Original CTA program acceptance letter

CLOSING DATE FOR THE AUDITOR GENERAL BURSARY
The closing date for AGSA bursary online application is 30 Septmeber 2023 and your application must be captured before or on this date.
