JSE bursaries will be awarded within the following fields of study (undergraduate and postgraduate):
- Accounting Sciences (BCom)
- Finance (BCom)
- Economic Sciences (BCom)
- Risk and Investments
- Actuarial Sciences
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Computational and Applied Mathematics
- Robotics
JSE BURSARY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
If you wish to apply for this financial assistance for the JSE, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be a South African citizen
- Completed Matric
- Studying full time within one of the aforementioned fields of study (second/ third or Honours year)
- Undergraduate students: must have obtained a minimum overall average of 60%
- Postgraduate students: must have obtained a minimum overall average of 50%
- From a designated group
- From a previously disadvantaged background

Documents Required
Your application must be accompanied by the following:
- ID document (certified copy)
- Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Latest academic results (on tertiary letterhead)
- Full academic record/ transcript (on tertiary letterhead)
- Undergraduate qualification certificate, if studying at postgraduate level (certified copy)
