Moore Bursary Programme South Africa 2027

Moore is a global company that has its headquarters in London while having a footprint in many countries. It specialises in auditing, accounting, tax, and advisory services. Since its establishment in 1907, Moore has grown to over 100 countries and employs about 35,000 qualified individuals. The Moore Bursary programme for 2027 targets 10 successful applicants from Port Elizabeth office who intend pursuing a a CTA degree (postgraduate Certificate in the Theory of Accounting, required for CA(SA)).

What Is Moore Bursary?

This is a funding opportunity that targets students who are financially unable to pay for studies but demonstrate academic excellence. The bursary provides cover for CTA degree which leads to salaried traineeship. Students who complete their studies and training may get hired by Moore.

Moore Bursary Study Fields

The aim of this bursary programme is to help students with the ambition of becoming Chartered Accountants but lack financial means to complete their studies. The advantage of this opportunity is that students who successfully complete their studies with this bursary will assume a role as Trainee Accountants.

Eligibility Criteria – Who Can Apply?

  • Applicants for the bursary from Moore must meet the following eligibility criteria set out by the company:
  • Applicants must be South African citizens
  • You must present exceptional matric performance results
  • Applicants for the bursary must intend pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in a SAICA recognized university
  • You must achieve an average of at least 60% in your academic performance
  • Demonstrate leadership qualities
  • Applicants must possess strong ethical and personal values i.e. honesty, integrity and a good work ethic
