ABOUT THE COMPANY – GWK
GWK (Griekwaland-Wes Korporatief) is a South African agricultural and trading firm with its head offices in Douglas, Northern Cape, South Africa. The company was founded in 1943 and its growth has led to it becoming the largest agricultural companies in the country.
There are three business GWK operates in South Africa and they are as follows:
- GWK Agri: assists farmers by providing them with a wide range of products and services, including agricultural inputs, machinery, and financial services.
- GWK Trading: is involved in agricultural commodities, including grain, oilseeds, and nuts.
- GWK Farm Foods: involved in agricultural products, including wheat, meat, and dairy products.
- GWK Pecans: specializes in the cultivation and processing of pecan nuts.
GWK BURSARY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
For GWK to consider your bursary application, you must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be South African citizens
- Applicants must have completed Grade 12
- You must be studying towards a qualification in the fields of study below
- You must be studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
