Bursary opportunities are open to students who reside within the Joe Taolo Gaetsewe (JTG) district (Northern Cape) and Hotazel Manganese Mine’s Employees children, for studies within the listed fields of study:

- Civil Engineering
- Economic and Management Science
- Electrical Engineering
- Geology
- Health, Safety & Environment
- Industrial Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Mine Surveying
- Mining
WHAT DOES DR XOLANI MKHWANAZI SOUTH32 BURSARY COVER?
Successful applicants will have the following expenses catered for while focusing on their studies:

- Meals and Accommodation

DR XOLANI MKHWANAZI SOUTH32 BURSARY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
If you wish to have your application considered for 2024, yo must meet the following criteria:
- You must reside within the Joe Taolo Gaetsewe (JTG) district (in the Northern Cape province) OR be a child of a Hotazel Manganese Mine employee
- You must be under the age of 21 years
- You must have completed your Matric
- You must be studying or intend on studying full time towards a Degree or Diploma, within one of the fields listed above, in 2024
- You must be studying or have been admitted/ accepted to study at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- You must have a strong academic record
- Preference will be given to students from designated groups as per the company EE Plan and residents of JTG and Broader Northern Cape
