Absa invites applications for funding from students who are top achievers and are committed to changing their lives through education. In order for your application to be considered for 2024 academic year, you must be studying towards a qualification in one of the listed study fields:
- Actuarial Science
- Computer Science
- Industrial Engineering
- Information Technology
- Mathematics
- Risk Management
- Statistics
WHAT ARE ABSA BURSARY REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY
If your education path falls within the fields of study listed above, additionally you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be a South African citizen
- Be in possession of Matric/Grade 12
- You average academic performance must be 75%
- Be intending to enrol for a Bachelor degree
- You must demonstrate very strong academic abilities
WHICH COURSES DOES ABSA BURSARY COVER?
The bursary will provide comprehensive financial support including registration fees, tuition fees, accommodation expenses, laptop benefit, books, meals and transport allowance.
HOW TO APPLY FOR ABSA BURSARY?
Applications must be done online via Absa Bursary Application 2024 before the closing date.
Make sure that you attach the following documents to support your application for 2024 academic year:
- Your ID document (certified copy)
- Your Matric certificate (certified copy)
- Full tertiary academic record (on institutions letterhead)
