ABOUT KHOBAB WIND FARM
Khobab Wind Farm is located near Loeriesfontein and runs a powerful renewable energy project producing energy since 2017. Its 61 turbines generate roughly 140 MW, enough to light up around 170,000 homes every year. But beyond producing clean energy, the wind farm also invests in its community by supporting education and skills development.
BURSARY VALUE & BENEFITS
This bursary is open to undergraduates of all fields of study. You could be pursuing media, engineering, commerce, or humanities, you are invited to submit your application for funding of your studies.
Funds may cover various study-related expenses, including:
- Tuition, registration, and exam fees
- Learning materials such as textbooks
- Meals and campus accommodation
WHO CAN APPLY FOR THE KHOBAB WIND FARM BURSARY?
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens
- Reside in Loeriesfontein (proof required)
- Be enrolled or intending to enroll in a public or accredited higher education institution in South Africa in 2026 (TVET, university, or University of Technology)
Applications are considered on individual needs and academic merit, with preference for candidates whose qualifications will improve their employment prospects.

- Certified ID copy
- Matric results (or certificate if completed)
