Hexagon Trust Bursary 2025 – Know How To Apply

The Hexagon Trust is a non-profit NGO which aims to provide opportunities for students to realise their full educational potential. In addition to this, The Hexagon Trust aims to contribute to the process of educational transformation.

Since its establishment in 1987, the trust and has since helped more than 18 000 students in South Africa. The Hexagon Trust Bursary is open to learners in Matric who are ambitious about furthering their education to university. Applicants must be 18 years and older and be interested in studying in the Science, Engineering, and Commerce at tertiary level.

  • You must be able to demonstrate financial need
  • You must be 18 years or older have a strong academic history
  • You must have a strong academic history
  • You must be entering their first year of academic study
  • You must be committed to developing their community

What Does the Hexagon Trust Bursary Cover?

The Hexagon Trust Bursary covers the following expenses on behalf of all beneficiaries:

  • registration fees
  • tuition fees
  • book allowance

  • Step 1 – Visit the official Hexagon Trust Bursary Application 2025 online page
  • Step 2 – Login or create your online student profile
  • Step 3 – Complete online application
  • Step 4 – Upload required documents:
    • Your South African ID document
    • Your passport sized photograph
    • Your Matric June exam results, if currently in Matric
    • Matric final results, if completed Matric (certified copy)
    • Acceptance letter from your tertiary institution (on institutions letterhead)
    • Parents or guardians proof of household income (payslip if employed/ sworn affidavit if unemployed)
  • Step 5 – Submit your application before the closing date
