Who Can Apply?
The Siza Water Bursary Programme 2025 is open to applications from students who meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must come from the Siza Water concession area, in KwaZulu-Natal province (see the coverage area here)
- Applicants must be studying or intend on studying towards a qualification in one of the fields listed below
- You must be registered or accepted to study at a recognised and accredited institution in South Africa
- Applicants must be in financial need
Siza Water Bursary 2025 – Application Process
You must download the Siza Water Bursary Application Form (.pdf) in order to complete and submit your application. Alternativel you can collect hard copy application forms from the following offices:

Required Supporting Documents
Here is the set of supporting documents that must accompany your application:
- Your ID document or birth certificate (certified copy)
- Your Matric certificate or highest level of education completed (certified copy)
- Supplementary examination results, where applicable (certified copy)
- Proof of tertiary registration/ admission (on institution letterhead)
- Statement/ account/ invoice/ receipt with breakdown of all study-related costs (on institution letterhead)
- Proof of parents or guardians household income (latest payslips if employed/ affidavit if unemployed/ proof of pension or grant if applicable) (certified copy)

The deadline for the Siza Water Bursary Programme is 13 December 2024. Applications received later than the deadline will not be processed.
