Fields of Study Covered by the WAAW Foundation Scholarship
The WAAW Foundation Scholarship supports students pursuing qualifications in STEM-related fields. These include, but not limited to:

Eligibility Criteria – Who Should Apply?
This scholarship is specifically intended for students who meet the following criteria:
- African students
- Female younger than 32 years of age
- You must be pursuing STEM-related undergraduate qualifications
- You must be applying for or currently enrolled in tertiary institution
- Only 1st or 2nd year students will be funded
- 3rd years are only funded if on a 5 year degree study programme
- You must be seeking funding for the 2026 academic year
- Demonstrate strong academic performance
- Demonstrate lack of financial ability to complete studies
Only applications from students who meet all requirements will be considered. Postgraduate degrees (Honours, Masters, MBA or PhD) are NOT funded.
