Bursary Value and Benefits
If your application for 2026 academic year is successful, you will have the following expenses covered:

Eligibility Requirements?
This bursary is for students who love wine and need money for school. To apply, you must:
- Be a South African citizen or permanent resident
- Be in Grade 12 or have finished it
- Plan to study one of the wine subjects in 2026 at a South African school
- Be unemployed and not have another bursary
- Show you’re passionate about wine (like in a letter about why you like it)
- Have financial need (your family makes less than R350,000 a year, or you’re on SASSA)

- Grade 12 results or latest school report (if in Grade 12)
- Proof you’re accepted to study in 2026
- A motivational letter (why you like wine and the industry)
- A letter about your 2026 school costs (fees, books, place to stay)
- Two Excel sheets: one for marks, one for costs (download from the form)
- A signed paper saying your info is true (affidavit from police)
- Proof of disability if you have one
