What is Thuthuka Bursary?
Thuthuka Bursary Fund (SAICA) supports disadvantaged Black African/Coloured students to become Chartered Accountants. Full funding + academic + mentorship + work-readiness — not just fees.
What it Covers for 2027:
Tuition, residence, meals, books. Does NOT cover old debts/loans. Renewed annually if you pass.

Who Can Apply?
- SA citizen, Black African or Coloured, disadvantaged
- In Matric or Matric within last 2 years
- 60% Maths in Grade 11 (NOT Literacy) + English
- Combined family income ≤ R350,000/year (NSFAS test)
- Must write NBT before closing date
- Applied to Thuthuka university
Selection:Â Academic 60%+ Maths, financial need (NSFAS test), NBT results.
