Royal Bafokeng Holdings (RBH) is an investment company owned by the Royal Bafokeng Nation of South Africa. What Is The RBH Bursary?
The RBH Bursary Programme is a financial support scheme by Royal Bafokeng Holdings (RBH) aiming to empower deserving students within the Royal Bafokeng Nation. This bursary aims to eliminate financial barriers that prevent community youth from pursuing tertiary education. By providing funding for university studies, the bursary programme contributes by growing the number of graduates which enhances the socio-economic growth of the community.
Royal Bafokeng Holdings Bursary – Fields of Study
The RBH has selected certain study fields to receive financial support for 2025 academic year. These are as follows:
- Chartered Accountanting
- Investment Management
- Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (CTA)
- Honours Degree in above fields
More About The RBH Bursary Programme – Eligbility Requirements
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must be under 35 years or younger
- You must be unemployed
- You must have completed Matric
- Should be studying or have applied to study at a recognised registered public South African
University - You must be studying or have applied to study for full time studies towards a qualification in one of the
fields mentioned above (under fields of study section) - You must be entering first, second or third year of study in 2025
- Postgraduate applicants are also invited to apply
- Must have passed with a minimum overall average of 65%, if currently studying
- Must not hold any other bursaries granted to them, including NSFAS

Step 3 – Gather all required document, making sure that all certificates are certified. Here is the list of required documents:
- Certified ID document
- Certified proof of residence
- Matric certificate
- Proof of registration and acceptance at an accredited public South African University
- Certificates of any completed qualifications, if applicable
- Academic transcript and/or full academic record
- Brief CV & Motivation letter
