The bursary programme is a financial support aimed at assisting Civil Engineering students, covering expenses like tuition, books, meals and accommodation. Applicants must be from previously disadvantaged backgrounds who demonstrate strong academic performance. Furthermore, successful applicants get a chance to participate in vacation work at Knight Piésold during semester breaks.
What Does The Knight Piesold Bursary Cover?
The bursary programme support its recipients by taking care of expenses related to studies. Below is what will be paid for by Knight Piesold:
- tuition fees,
- registration fees,
- prescribed books and
- accommodation.
After graduation, bursary recipients will automatically take up employment at the company, to further enable their growth within the engineering sector.
Knight Piesold Bursary Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):
- You must be a South African citizen
- You must be studying towards a BSc or BEng Civil Engineering degree
- You must be in your 2nd or 3rd year of study
- You must be studying at a recognised and accredited university in South Africa
