Potato SA Bursary 2025 – Fields of Study
If you wish to apply for the Potato SA Bursary, you must be pursuing a career within the following study fields:
- Undergraduate Applicants: Agricultural fields (Agriculture Production, Agronomy, Plant Production, Soil Science)
- Postgraduate Applicantsg: Honours, Masters or PhD – with a Potato Related Topic
Eligibility Requirements
The Potato SA Bursary is open for both undergraduate and postgraduate applicants for 2025 academic year.
Undergraduate Applicants
- Applicants must be a South African citizen
- Applicants must have completed Matric
- Applicants must be studying full-time towards an undergraduate qualification, in one of the Agricultural fields listed above
- Applicants must be entering your 2nd or higher year of study
- Applicants must be studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- Applicants must have a strong academic record
Postgraduate Applicants:
- Applicants must be a South African citizen
- Applicants must have completed Matric
- Applicants must be studying full-time towards an Honours, Masters or PhD qualification, with a Potato Related Topic
- Applicants must be studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- Applicants must have a strong academic record

Applicants who wish to apply must download the Potato SA Bursary Application Form 2025 and complete it.
